About Ita
Ita's career in journalism has smashed through one glass ceiling after another. In 1972 she was the founding editor of Cleo magazine, then editor of The Australian Women’s Weekly before becoming the first female editor of a major newspaper in Australia in 1981 as Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Telegraph. A powerhouse in Australian media and a respected advocate for multiple causes, Ita’s focus on community service and support for the vulnerable has been widely recognised and celebrated.

All HIGH TEES products are hand drawn, designed and printed in Melbourne, Australia.
Our garments are digitally printed and these super soft fabrics require some extra TLC. As a result of cleaning, some fading may occur over time, most notably the darker shades in the print.
Fading can be minimised by following the care instructions below:
- Hand-wash or gentle machine cycle (inside out)
- Cold water only
- Mild phosphate free detergent recommended
- Line dry in shade
- Do not tumble dry
