Clive James' dry, dead pan humour underpinned his critical eye and pen. Author, poet, presenter, critic, broadcaster, journalist, James' opinion was a defining voice of the mid 20th Century. 

Although he spent most of his life and career in the UK, he is a most beloved national Australian treasure. He died in 2019.
