Everyone loves Eddie Betts. Not just because he is a mercurial, phenomenal, magical footballer but also because he has shone a light on the racism. 

Betts has played over 300 AFL games, 3 times All Australian, 4 times Goal of Year, 6 x Club leading Goal Kicker, AFL Life Membership, and played for Australia in an International series and represented the Indigenous All Stars. Poise, grace and speed are Bett's trademarks. 

But it is not just his on-field magic that makes him a star and an icon. A proud Wirangu/Kokatha/Goburn man, Betts has also devoted his time being a positive force in his community, standing up to racism and promoting kindness. He is particularly passionate about working with children in need and education around kindness, equality and acceptance. He has written a series of educational books "Eddie's Lil'Homies" - "My Kind" and "My People".  

Not just a hero to Crows and Blues fans, Eddie is a a great Australian Icon for everyone who believes in acceptance, kindness and equality through positive change.
