Evonne Goolagong Cawley AO, MBE is an Australian legend. A superstar of Women's Tennis, Goolagong is a tennis hall of fame winning 92 professional tournaments including Wimbledon twice, French Open once and the Australian Open four times. She is only the second mother to have won Wimbledon.
She returned to Australia to explore her Aboriginal heritage prompting her to write her best selling book, "Home! The Evonne Goolagong Story". She is a co-patron of Reconciliation Australia and has continued to promote and develop sport for indigenous Australians including setting up her own Foundation in 2005. She has been elected a Board Member of the Indigenous Land Corporation also the National Centre of indigenous Excellence.
