At first, we thought not to include the kangaroo in the Native Animal series to give the spotlight to another animal and its situation. But after much research and consideration, we thought it was a good time to start opening up the debate about where we view the kangaroo - a pest, delicious meat, livestock, emblem, icon, scary, gorgeous.
