The King of Red Dirt - The Year Of the Snake

The King Brown or Mulga Snake is Australia's largest land snake, growing up to 3 metres long. It is also one of the most venomous snake in the world. Despite its name "King Brown", the snake is actually part of the Black Snake family.

It roams the Western, Northern and Central plains of Australia. It's venom is highly toxic and can be expressed in enormous quantities. Southern varieties are quiet and shy compared to their northern neighbours that can be aggressive when threatened.

As 2025 is the Chinese Year of the Snake, this is the perfect t shirt to wear. According to Chinese Horoscope, Snake is a cautious, introverted observer, cool and mysterious in behaviour owing to their suspicious and insecure nature, yet their armour conceals abundant sensitivity, wisdom, and passion that will surely surprise their few confidants. The Snake, symbolising wisdom, introspection, calmness and transformation, offers opportunities for personal growth and change.

High Tees wanted to celebrate the Year of the Snake with a uniquely Australian flavour - The King Brown (Mulga) snake.
