Hand-drawn by Melbourne artist Jess McDonald, this design celebrates both the beauty and the brute strength of this tiny heavyweight. Known for its shiny mahogany shell and proud stance, the Stag Beetle proves that even in the undergrowth, confidence is key.

These beetles are surprisingly gentle giants — the males use their spectacular jaws not for biting, but for jousting other males in a slow-motion shoving match over mates and territory. Think of it as a “Battle of the Bands”, beetle-style.
